Miss Maphosa obtained her Law Honours Degree at the University of Zimbabwe in 1999 and has been in private pracce since. She is an agile and sturdy lawyer whose pracce spans from specialized criminal defence to civil ligaon with a definite bias towards Internaonal Corporate Law and Finance, serving both local and internaonal clients including internaonal financial instuons and local parastatals. She has handled extensive conveyancing, real estate and property law and has served as conveyancer and counsel in several development projects and property sales.

She is affiliated with the Instute of Bankers Zimbabwe. She sits on several Boards and Trusts including Hillbrass P/L (Kintyre Estates), Chengetedzai Depository Company Limited - (as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Risk, Compliance and Business Conduct Board Commiee), African Sun Limited, Marvel Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd (Chairman), Tumaini Trust (Chairman), S.A.I.D Trust (Int) and she has acted in an advisory capacity for ZIMRA Board She is a volunteer with various charitable funcons.
